Jobsites

While studies confirm that mesothelioma may develop in individuals who have never worked with asbestos, the vast majority of cases involve people who worked in locations where the substance was present. Obviously, jobsites that involved the mining or processing of asbestos, or the manufacturing of products containing it, have an extremely high rate of exposure. Numerous other jobsites, however, where asbestos was used in much smaller amounts, have also surfaced as sources of exposure. A few of the more common jobsites that have been linked to exposure include:

  • Mines
  • Hospitals
  • Manufacturing Plants
  • Hotels
  • Ships
  • Chemical Plants
  • Shipyards
  • Automotive Plants
  • Power Plants
  • Metal Works - Steel Mills/Aluminum Plants
  • Oil Refineries
If you worked in any of the above settings in the past, or feel that you may have been exposed in some other way, we highly recommend that you contact a mesothelioma legal professional to discuss your rights to recovery.
